Nordlys
IPL

A personalised light-based treatment designed to support clearer, brighter and more even-looking skin by targeting selected concerns such as redness, pigmentation, sun damage and acne-prone skin.

Who is it for?

Nordlys IPL is suitable for patients looking to improve redness, pigmentation, sun damage, acne-prone skin or unwanted hair without more intensive resurfacing downtime.

Nordlys IPL in London Bridge at Derma Consult Skin Specialist for redness, visible vessels, rosacea-prone skin, pigmentation, sun damage, acne-prone skin, skin rejuvenation and hair reduction using Candela Nordlys IPL technology.

What to expect from your treatment

During the treatment, protective eyewear will be provided and a cooling gel may be applied. The IPL handpiece is placed against the skin and delivers controlled pulses of light. Patients often describe the sensation as a quick warm flick or snap against the skin.

After treatment, the skin may look red, warm or slightly swollen. Pigmented areas may darken temporarily before flaking or fading gradually. Vascular areas may appear more flushed before settling.

Downtime varies depending on the concern treated, treatment intensity and individual skin response.

A course of treatments may be recommended for best results.
