What to expect from your treatment
Your practitioner will assess your facial movement, discuss your goals and explain what can realistically be achieved.
The treatment itself is usually quick, with small injections placed into selected areas. You may notice mild redness, small bumps, tenderness or bruising at the injection sites, which usually settles.
Results are not immediate. The effect usually develops gradually over the following days, with full effect commonly reviewed around 2 weeks after treatment. Longevity varies between patients and depends on the area treated, muscle strength, metabolism, lifestyle and previous treatment history.
