Dermalux Tri-Wave MD uses clinically recognised wavelengths of light blue, red and near-infrared to target different skin concerns. At Derma Consult Skin Specialist, Dermalux may be used as a standalone treatment or as part of a wider skin, laser, injectable or dermatology plan.

Types and wavelengths
Dermalux Tri-Wave MD uses three key wavelengths, each selected for different skin-supporting benefits.
Blue light — 415nm
Often used for acne-prone and breakout-prone skin.
Blue light is commonly selected in plans targeting blemishes, congestion and bacteria associated with acne-prone skin.
Red light — 633nm
Often used for redness, radiance and skin rejuvenation support.
Red light is commonly included in plans for dullness, inflammation-prone skin, early signs of ageing and post-treatment calming.
Near-infrared light — 830nm
Often used for deeper recovery support.
Near-infrared light is commonly selected for post-procedure recovery plans, skin repair support and calming treatment protocols.
